2 weeks 4 expensive packages have gone missing once they reached the NOLA UPS center

Someone that works for UPS in NOLA has recently gotten themselves some nice tools I ordered. Amazon is currently resending one of them for a 3rd try. $2000 out of their pocket the two extra times they have sent it. The others were shipped directly from the manufacturer so I have to call them tomorrow to see what they will do about it.
The issue is that these companies are shipping the items in the OG packaging so people see what it is and snatch it. Put that crap in a generic box. Keep in mind the tools all weigh 100+ plus pounds so grabbing them is no easy task.

I hope the tools serve them well
It is literally holding me up from completing some stuff on my house. The one tool has now held me up for a month as Amazon keeps sending replacements then I have to wait two weeks before they say it is lost and will send a new one. There is also limited supply (LGB) of this one tool thanks to supply chain BS so I dont have much choice but to wait on it from Amazon as it is out of stock just about everywhere else and if a place does have it in stock they are 20 to 30% higher than Amazon.

I worked the ups hub off Morison back in 94. Loading trailers. Lafayette region mostly.

All boxes get kicked and forced into a wall of boxes. Like Tetris but make the blocks that won’t fit, fit.
Only concerns they had were miss loads. Make sure every package has the zip code for your region. Other than that, stuff that shite in those trailers

Well, I am not sure how it works between UPS and Amazon but someone besides me is eating the cost of each subsequent shipment
