No. The best thing would be for someone of
better moral fiber
with less arrogance
but equal fight
roughly equivalent fighting instincts
with the name recognition to win
would run.
Who you got?

You forgot:
Independently wealthy so as not to be beholden to special interests.
And I’ll take exception to the low moral fiber remark.
I think DJT is a good guy and loves America. That doesn’t make him a perfect human being.
The fact that he is flawed and what you see is what you get, I believe, is what endeared him to many voters.

Yes. He is the best President we have ever had. His reelection was stolen form him and he has the business mind ti get us out of this mess because it is going to need major fiscal and monetary policy actions/

DeSantis 2024
Trump needs to play the kingmaker and get the MAGA base behind BDR. Lock down the base and let DeSantis get to work and woo the demographics who can swing the election: the suburban Karens, Hispanics who are fed up with $6 gas, centrist Democrat-lite voters who hate the radical woke left, and the RINOS who like Trump policies but can't stand the man

You can take exception all you’d like. High moral fiber guys don’t bang pornstars while their wife is pregnant and then payoff the pornstar.

Yup. That’s it. There’s no other realistic option, IMO.

The old “I love Trump but…”
Sack up, going along to get along has done nothing for conservative values.

Lost the popular vote to an Alzheimer's patient and incredibly unpopular woman....he needs to go golfing in 24

DeSantis with Trump behind the scenes as counsel.
Hire Sessions. Hire Barr. Hire Bolton. Maybe he should keep his counsel to himself. DeSantis doesn't need the baggage.

I'd take either Trump or DeSantis. I'm old enough to remember when Mitt Romney and John McCain were called all of the same things Trump has been called. It was a fervor that began with W.
It doesn't matter who we choose, even if it's a full RINO cuck fake republican. They will all be cast as literally Hitler in the lefty narrative, which is 90% of the media.

The RINOs will not like BDR any more than they liked Trump. Their dislike for Trump was not his personality. He threatened their way of life and worldview. Anyone the public supports (populist) will be the same.

A nationalist populist goes against the neocon Chamber of Commerce stooges for sure....
....but I think even people like Romney are starting to see which way the wind is blowing. I think Turtle will bow out in 2024 since he is already older than dirt.

Looking back on these jagoffs and their pretend conservatism is like looking back at Wham’s early performances and wondering how we didn’t realize they were gay.

That's the risk of Ron. Is he a chamber of commerce stooge?

He will ride the fence on that a bit, IMO.

Exactly. While BDR has a track record that is favorable and seems to be the real deal, how do we know he won’t end up being a SWAMPER who is using MAGA to gain power/influence?
For Christ sake, our previous two repub nominees were fricken McCain and Romney. Only until after their presidential run collapsed did they show their true colors. NeoCon RINO that are only looking out for the deep state/NWO.
ETA: with big orange, we know what we are getting.

Depending on perspective, at first glance, "no."
If him being in there incites the Left to do exactly what we've been speculating on and expecting for so long.
Where they're no longer satisfied with just burning down 2 billion here, 2 billion there, of peoples' private property to support one more criminal du jour.
Causing the final civil Armageddon.
If there's anything the doctrinaire, virulent marxist, or armchair, weekend marxist wannabe considers anathema is the ownership of private property.
The destruction of said property to the collective has been a bolshevik ideal and aspiration since at least 1917.
So should we have someone in there who's adept at straddling and continues to defer to them, and does just enough to make it appear to the populace that he's actually attempting to save the Republic instead of just going through the motions.
On second thought, maybe that "no" is a resounding "yes."
