Upvote for yes, downvote for no

This isn’t about specific plans out there. It’s about any new laws designed to restrict purchases relative to status quo

I'm not pro gun. I'm pro constitution.

If you support gun restrictions, restrictions to other amendments are on the table. We've all brought up raising the voting age to 21 as an example.

Slippery slope. As everything is these days it seems. And there's no telling what that may look like. Seems it would not be good. The constitution would probably be destroyed.

Everything on the books is already an infringement on law-abiding citizens. Why would anyone support more unconstitutional laws?

I’ve got one. If you voted for Joe Biden you can’t purchase a firearm.

I downvoted because while I do support some increased gun control measures they will not stop gun violence, including mass shootings, and there will be continued pushes for ever increasing measures as a response.

Democrats are playing the long game in gun control where they plan to slowly tighten the noose around gun owners in the coming years.

It is a slippery slope that leads to the erosion of constitutional rights and liberties and I oppose it.

Gun control of any type won’t rid criminals and mental patients of guns

Other than they look cool I don’t know why I would need an assault type rifle with high capacity magazines

What’s an assault rifle?

What’s a high capacity magazine?

I support 21 years old to buy a gun and 21 years old to vote. However, I’d allow you to possess a game with an adult for hunting etc. all these rules should apply to big cities but not rural communities.

If it's decided to raise the age to purchase a gun at 21 I would want an exemption for active duty Military Members under 21 or honorably discharged service members.

It's a bit Starship Troopers but I support the concept.

I don’t support any restrictions, not that some sense should be used, but I don’t trust anything from this Government, and you give them 1 inch and your entire family is at risk. It’s not something I’m willing to let them be in control of, my families protection, that is… we saw in Uvaldé, can’t trust anyone to protect you or your family. Only a good guy with a gun can help in those situations

Control black people?

Do you cheer for the black people on your favorite football team?

Immediate reaction based on emotion would be yes…there has to be some sort on new technology or something that says yes we can be more “restrictive” with age, red flag laws, etc
This isn’t the late 1700’s or 1800’s when we didn’t have automatic weapons and kids were more mature, etc

However logic sinks in and I say hell no….because time and time again history has shown you give these peole an inch and they take the whole thing.
So no!! Don’t change a thing….the second is not to be messed with
