Need to throw some NIL money at the 2 starters USM have used so far. We would be a top 5 seed with those kids as 1-2 on our staff.

I agree that pitcher Kennesaw state had was pretty good as well. Jack Myers or something

Just shows you the arms that teams really have! But I will say us included! Say what you want but Ty Floyd pitched his arse off!

Their whole bullpen today could be our Ace, any one of them. They just kept bringing out guys throwing 95-97 that could locate. Watching them vs Kennesaw St’s impressive bats tomorrow should be fun.

LSU has these guys in their bullpen too. LSU doesn’t have the starters.
Also those teams have those guys yet LSU is 2-0.

It seems pitchers that throw 95 grow on trees these days. There's a lot of parity across college baseball now when it comes to starting pitchers, compared to years of old.

Yeahh. I don't know how they legally have to go about getting in their ears but good God those starters made Tennessee's look average

I was thinking pretty much the same thing during the game tonight. It’s the small piece to the puzzle that’s missing on this LSU team. Having a 1 & 2 that’s similar to what USM puts on the mound would have had an enormous impact on this years LSU team and drastically improving their conference record.
Just having a couple elite aces really takes the pressure off the hitters and an offense like LSU has really takes the pressure off your teams aces.
Simply put … If LSU had USM’s #1 & #2 pitchers , then errors be damned b/c having a couple 1st round MLB picks on the mound as starters and hitters 1 thru 9 in the line-up who are game changers, then you’re a tough team to handle.

Today everything is max effort. That starter settled into a 92-94 range.
