I have noticed a lot of places - primarily hotel bars, restaurants, etc. accepting cards only. However, they clearly advertise that at the entrance or register.

I’ve seen that in several cities in multiple states.

False

New convenience store concept here in Houston by 7-Eleven called 7NOW.

You can only order through their app. You can't go inside the building. They will come out and give it to you or you can order through door dash/Uber eats. That's it.

It's basically a little warehouse inside. It saves them money to not have to make the building looks as nice it allows them to keep more inventory in stock by not having that public space, and it means no cash on site to rob.

I've NEVER had cash turned down when paying for anything I've ever bought.

Now, I know of a few places where cash is the only form of payment they take, mainly restaurants.

Mosca's and Casamento's immediately comes to mind----unless they've changed their policy in the last couple years.

Lsu baseball stadium takes only cards.

On the flip side, Florabama was cash only from Friday - the holiday weekend.

Nope. Several sports stadiums and arenas are moving to credit/debit only. Quite a few food/beer spots at American Airlines center now do this.
