Seriously this is ridiculous is it that hard to find someone that is better than him? Every time a ball is hit at him he instantly becomes a liability.

It’s all a mental issue. Happened to me in high school ( inconsistent throws from short). I went out every day and threw to my dad from short to first. Had my buddies run to simulate game. Once I quit worrying about messing up and just trusted my ability, I got over it and never looked back. I hope Thompson can do the same.

He screwed up a routine play. Most high school players could easily make that throw.

Last 3 weeks he been much better gonna make an error at some point but he has been much better later in year.. he made plays last week at vandy very few ss in country can make and this place was crickets

Who is playing second? Not Thompson. He can’t turn a DP.

Because if he was he would be playing. Pretty simple logic. Do you honestly think JJ is purposely holding back the team by not putting the best product on the field or he is just incapable as a manager to make personnel decisions?

I’m not saying that Jay is purposely holding the team back, nor that Bianco should start over Thompson, but just because the coach does something doesn’t mean it can’t be questioned. Hell, Hasty didn’t pitch at all for the majority of the season and now he is one of our biggest pieces heading into the post season.
