I have an opportunity to leave. The money has gotten very good but the job sucks. I take as much joy as a coal miner must. Perhaps I exaggerate but you get the drift.

Bottom line. I bet I take a $10k/yr cut in pay but the trade is more time at home and just not being in this job anymore.

These two statements don’t seem to jive… if the money is that good 10k seems pretty negligible for a much better job.

Nurses EVERYWHERE are getting paid more, but the most is critical care. I am in ER currently. But all nurses got a bump.

Also, the bonuses for staying are gone. Bonuses for not quitting and Biden Bucks paid for my house to get Hardy plank and painted, and a sweet guitar, and extra storage building/workshop built.

But I can't hang my hat on that year. It was an outlier.
