Ron DeSantis: There Is ‘No Way’ Florida Will Support W.H.O. Global Pandemic Treaty

“We in Florida, there is no way we will ever support this W.H.O. thing … that’s not going to happen. No way,” DeSantis said during a press conference in Cape Coral, Florida.

Which Governors follow suit?

He has the weight of past supreme court decisions that holds the constitution as supreme to treaties. Just as it's written in the constitution

And if the US enters into a treaty or agreement then his state does as well unless it is no longer a part of the union…

Personally, I am all for this being the trigger that pushes that button…

It is not a knock on Desantis…

A treaty can never TRUMP the constitution

But don’t let that get in the way of your insightful analysis

Unless the treaty/agreement is illegal

Ron is more in tune with what is going on than Trump.

Trump just reacts. Takes everything personally and is prone to making really bad team hires. He hires for shock value as much as he does need. That's not good. Most of his celebrity hires end up stabbing him in the back.

It's not that I don't like Trump, but it's becoming apparent that he's liable to lose focus and cause more problems than are warranted. Unnecessarily so.

*And for you downvotes, Trump only has 1 term left. DeSantis would have 2.

Choose wisely.

Treaties only. States are not obligated to follow "agreements." Especially those entered by the executive on his own.

That's a big if, by the way.

Trump did, however, send out some scathing press releases condemning Chris Wallace and Piers Morgan last month. Those are important.

Yeah, Trump hasn't said anything about the U.N. or about the U.S. giving away its sovereignty back when Florida was still seriously considering the great black tranny loving crackhead as their governor...

I’m glad DeSantis is taking a stand.

But until the WHO gets an army I’m not worried about them.

Even if they get an army I’m not to worried. It will be target practice.

While pretty accurate, Trump had to do something "immediately" bc Americans have an attention of about 5 seconds.
