Light inside works and power and check light also work but refrigerator won’t cool. This is a Dometic and in a 2019. Bought last week from someone and he said he never had a problem. Rv is level and breakers have been checked. Help!

Take off external vent cover at the top of fridge, place a small fan up there (I use zip ties) and see if it starts cooling. If it begins working again you make need to install some fans on the vent to get rid of the hot air.

Will it not cool for both propane and ac? Have you tried going back and forth? Are you propane bottles on?

It cools really good with propane. They’ve ordered a heating element.

Propane/110v refers are old technology. Replace it with a residential refer,2 AGM batteries, and an inverter to run it when you're not on shore power or generator. A lot roomier and much more maintenance free and reliable.

I’d just get a 12v fridge. No need to invert DC to AC then. We have one in our RV and it’s great.

How long has it been on? Mine takes damn near 12 hr to get cold. Freezer is quick but fridge drags arse.

You gonna buy a new fridge or buy one of the conversions? I have good things about the 12v conversions and they don't look too complicated, just a bit of a PITA.
