You mean to tell me the Biden administration, of all administrations in history, successfully bluffed and fooled one of the most baneful leaders in Russian history? Joseph Biden??

And no, I don’t “identify” with either side, not a Putin guy, not a Zalensky guy. But to suggest this administration, any damn part of it, and throw this Congress in as well, but you’d be talking about only one of the maybe just a couple of “achievements” of this administration. I just don’t think this is the one.

IMO there was a single factor above all others that made Putin take it from “theoretical future plan” to “can’t pass it up, it’s a once on a lifetime opportunity,” and that was basically that Biden alone almost takes the U.S. out of the fight, a non-factor as American CIC.

And sure enough, Biden was a possum in headlights for about the entire first half of the thing. I guess maybe he’s graduated up to deer in headlights now though.
