This 76ers game is the type of game that elite scorers put up 45 and lead their team to a victory

Hey man, Mavs are coming for that Phoenix arse tonight.

I hate this Suns team, it’s a very tough and bad matchup for my Mavs. Mavericks have to resemble what they did in the 4th quarter, if they wanna have a shot tonight. I still think Mavs are a guy like Rudy Gobert away from a title. You put Rudy on this Mavericks team and it would completely take away the biggest mismatch in this series which is Ayton on the non existent Dallas bigs defensively. Mavericks will get out rebounded, but they simply can’t give up the offensive boards that they gave up last game.

Downvoted for nothing more than solid basketball analysis and an opinion ?

If we could find a way to win tonight that would be so massive. Luka’s gotta be a little bit more defensively and then we need Phoenix’s role players (Crowder, McGee, etc.) to look more like they did in round 1 instead of Monday. Im not overly optimistic, but it’s definitely possible.

Guards/wings have to get boards as well on defense.

The Mavs are night and day with their ball movement whether Luka's on or off the court. As great as he was in game 1, and they lost, I don't see how they can win a series against a really good team with Luka being so ball dominant and running clock until he makes a move every possession.

Plus it seems like the other guys just standing around and watching so much on offense has to dampen their fire on defense at least a little.

Seems like they need to find a happy medium between Luka doing his thing and getting the rest of the team involved earlier in the clock to get close to a championship.

Absolutely. Defense needs to come out a little bit better. Phoenix was hitting an unreal clip, but we need to lock down guys like Crowder, and Johnson we let them kill us too, you add that with Ayton Booker etc. it’s not a good combo. I didn’t give the Suns enough credit coming into this series, anything is possible with Luka, but I have tempered my expectations down a little bit after the first game.

Brunson and Dinwiddie were nonexistent game 1.

That’s a big factor
