It seems like real estate along the entire Florida Panhandle has doubled the last 2-3 years.

It’s been trending up for a decade now, and really shot up in 2020 when Covid limited a lot of air travel. My family sold our beach house earlier this year because the unsolicited offer we got was too good to refuse. Not sure if the buyers are going to rent it out(we sold to a legit buyer, not an investor) but I’d imagine they’d ask a high price based partially on what they paid for it.

Even the Texas coast has gone ape shite. What was a $250k tiny beach community home is now $450-500k.
The COVID stay at home shite triggered much of the well-healed cash in Htown to write checks…….maybe the next hurricane will correct this none sense. And maybe not.
