What is the difference between the two? I thought Brad was pretty conservative and was planning to vote for him but would change my mind if he is a RINO and Faircloth is a real conservative

The first half of the guy's last name is "Fair"... what more do you want?

Seriously though, I've met Jordan and his wife through mutual friends and the guy is a solid conservative. If I were in his district I would be voting for him.

I think they are both pretty conservative. Meyers has put in his time but I believe could only serve one term before he is aged out. Faircloth could get on the bench and stay there for many, many years. Sitting judges don’t usually get voted off the bench so it would be nice to have another strong conservative on the bench for the foreseeable future. Just my two cents.

Complete RINO. Supported Mary Landrieu a few years ago. I’ve been friends with Faircloth for over 15 years. Legit no non sense conservative. Easy choice.

They are both conservative and would do good job on the bench but two big reasons you should vote for Faircloth:

(1) Age - Myers will retire in the three or so years and you’ve effectively benched a judge for less than half a term. With Faircloth and the reality of re-election of incumbents, you can put a string conservative on that bench for 25 years.

(2) Old BR GOP money is behind Myers which means that favors are going to be owed and the old BR guard has not been a positive for this city.

Every article about him in the Advocate always starts out with former LSU baseball pitcher Jordan Faircloth. This is clearly designed to promote his candidacy. If teh Advocate is supporting hime thats all you need to know to vote for his opponent.

VOTE BRAD MYERS. HE HAS EXPERIENCE AND TEMPERAMENT AND WILL BE TOUGH ON CRIMINALS.

He's also backed by most of the plaintiff's lawyers in the area.

What an idiotic post. Of course the advocate would reference his baseball career at LSU. Brad Myers has never financially supported a single candidate for federal office other than Mary Landrieu. TWICE. Jordan is one the most conservative people I know. Get out of here with that.

I know people in both corners.

Either will likely be the most competent judge in the 19th right away.

Remember 99% of what they’ll do won’t be political.
