Weird. Mine rolled out of factory nearly 12 years ago, I have driven it for 9, and I’ve never had the power trunk malfunction. My biggest problem is when idiots close it manually and get their handprints on my dusty ride.

If you watch Top Gear and remember the Rolls V. Mercedes 600 test, I am of the same mind as James May. There is absolutely no problem with the close-your-trunk hand method.
