He had a great series imo and may turn out to be an underrated part of the Portland trade. He's been as much a part of why our bench minutes were as good as they were as the rookies.

I’m glad you posted this. I think he’s a consummate pro player. Knows his role and hustles for his team. Never the best athlete on the floor but capable and smart

Love the heart and passion he plays with. Played his arse off as an undersized 5 the whole series. Hope he is signed long term. We have a bright future if Zion buys in to the team.

He wasn’t an underrated part of the trade. The Pels knew what kind of player they were getting. He plays so much bigger than his size 6’8” but plays like he’s 7’ tall. He’s the perfect small ball 5 and he destroyed a much taller Ayton on the glass last night.

He makes plays that don’t show up on the box score. Tip outs on missed shots and deflected passes

agree, its what we wanted Jax to become, but Nance already has it.

Nance is the type of player that you win championships with, great role player who brings a little bit of everything to the table.

His play wasn’t the question IIRC. It was whether he could recover from his injury and justify using the TPE on him.
That was one of the better calculated risks Griff made IMHO. Being able to absorb him without sending out salary was exactly what Portland was looking for.

Nance is better. Jaxson is 21 and Nance is 29. Why can’t you have both?
