Anybody with an inside track know what the mood of the team and staff is? Personally I'm anticipating that by the time Saturday rolls around, the word that will best describe the LSU Tigers is FURY!

saw them reading the school paper on monday...with the score in big bold print on the front page

The humiliation has become reflection. Next comes resolve, then anger, then fury.
Good....very good. Let it burn.

rest assured they will NOT be flat Saturday. Win or lose, they will play with passion.

We needed a little motivation... now i don't think gettin the shite beat out of us by florida is good... but it'll sure get us motivated!

I saw D-Byrd's facebook status yesterday. "We got our arse beat to sleep. We won't lose again."

they are feeling good now that duzz has moved kw and rm to linebacker. that lifted everyone up.

They want to forfiet the rest of the season. They have been reading this board and decided to take the rantards advice.

On the plane after the game the team was laughing and definitely weren't acting as though they lost 51-21. Some assitants wonder whether there is accountability amongst the team or not.
It will be interesting to see how the team comes out these next few weeks.

Where's that ultimate-redass Nick Saban when you need him?
Players like Michael Clayton(at Tenn '02,) Kevin Mawae(Ark '94,) and many of the '79 LSU players( USC,) have been seen sobbing after tough defeats..usually of a mostly close competitive game nature..
Maybe sometimes, the only thing you can do after such a shellshock is to be in denial, and laugh a bit for a while?
But, the sense of urgency, and fire factor seems a bit lax, and aloof this year..then again it was such too under Saban after the '03 title when some
players showed up soft and out-of-shape, and the team got their arse handed to them by a similar championship year defeated team in UGA, just as with last year's heartbreak memory in Florida's mind this past week before facing LSU.

I passed P^2 walking behind the Design Building. He was listening to his iPod. It was probably Guns N' Roses because he's got an appetite for destruction that will be satiated this weekend against South Carolina.
