Anybody seen this ?
I'm making my 15 yr old son go with me today
After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy's top aviators, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. Just saw the trailer before watching the Northman.
I’m still wondering why this movie had to be made.
I am curious as to what the pilots think about an aging Tom Cruise climbing back into the cockpit and showing the young kids how to do things.
No smoking hot Kelly McGillis… That ship has sailed long ago. Goose, Iceman, sexy Meg Ryan… I just don’t see the point.

I don't think any 50 year olds have illusions about becoming a jet pilot. I think this movie is going to be about the younger generation of Hornet pilots as much as it is about Maverick.
