It doesn’t. Simply another case of Republicans using big gov’t for political purposes. They actually took something that was under a private corporation’s governance and nationalized it. Watching them spin it makes me sad. About like watching them touch themselves over building a border wall.

Lol. Not that Republicans don't do this, but true conservative and libertarian leaning ones don't. Literally all Dems do. And more importantly, what makes you think special tax districts are unconditional?

And as far as using taxation to shape public policy goes, that's the sine qua non of today's Democrat.
