Just returned from Nice. Amazing. Our first time there.

July will be peak so expect crowds. Lots of construction and restoration as all of France is getting ready for 2024 Olympics.

We stayed at Le Meridian so my recs will be places in walking distance from there.

Boccaccio took care of us for dinner one night and great option for fresh seafood and pasta. If you like raw seafood, I recommend. We arrived when they opened at 7pm and within 15 minutes they were turning people away.

Best views were from the “castle”. The hike was worth it. Never got to Negresco but looked like a great place for a drink or brunch or whatever. The Market is great for cheap souvenirs or fresh fruit, etc.

Train to Monaco for a day trip was worth it. Grab a drink at cafe in front of Monte Carlo Casino and people watch. Lost count of the Ferraris.

If you there for 3 days, I suggest planning one day to visit another town. So many to choose from. Just search French Riveria on YouTube and find your flavor. Pick one unless y’all like to hop around all day to “dip your toe”

We found nice little Airbnb in Nice right off Prom des Anglais. Had great time wondering around old town finding nice restaurants. Wish I could remember names.

The market was fun also. Took day trip to Monte Carlo to see casino and museum. Took another to Eze to Fragonard, wife loved this trip. We also took boat ride to Saint Tropez.

We went in September and it was hot. Would go back for sure.
