Played Lost Key and Kiva last week. Lost Key was a turd. The greens were good but the fairways and tee boxes looked like bunkers with the sand everywhere and lack of grass in many spots. It'll be a while before I go back and we own a townhome in LostKey but they got some work to do to get that course together.

Kiva was great as usual but windy as hell and it made it tough.

I really like the Peninsula and not sure why it doesn't get more love on here but we all have our reasons.

I like Peninsula as well. Other than Kiva, there’s really nothing special about any of the courses down there. That is not to disparage them, but to me they’re all mostly the same and personal preference comes down to course conditions when you play and general layout preference.

Except Lost Key. Frick that ball stealing course.

Damn that sucks to hear, it was in great shape last summer.

It seems like a lot of these Gulf Coast courses can go from good to shite and vice versa in a matter of months
