Do they fire Sherman?

He was a horrible hire and is proving why at the moment.

A&M needs a young, up and coming coach to get in there and fire up the fanbase. They are losing recruits to pretty much everyone in state and LSU.

They arleady have the facilities, but just need the right guy to represent their program.

I doubt it, Aggies are loyal to a fault

I have a hard time believing you should fire a head coach after 1 season anyways.

Now, if he should have ben the hire is another question

I dont get why TAMU is so terrible. I thought they'd atleast be decent with McGee Goodson and Lane returning... but I guess Johnson is the QB now? I dunno, havent really watched em

IMO, if you've ever been to College Station you can easily see that it is not attractive at all for college recruits.

Saying Howdy, having no female cheerleaders, seeing a bunch of white people in overralls, and not having a major city within an hour of you is many of the reasons it doesn't appeal to today's recruits.

have you ever been to Norman Ok? Gainsville Fla?

College Station had all these same "problems" in the 80's and 90's when A&M was damn good, why are these things suddendly such a big deal?

My bad, how did I not think of that as a metropolis that attrachs recruits?

Houston is maybe an hour from CS Ausitn an hourand a half, its not that isolated. Isn't Athens like an hour from Atlanta? Hell is Lubbuck a major city? Sorry that is not a valid reason for A&M to suck like they do.

If you've ever been to Lubbock, it's a miracle they get any one at all.

I think this is how they pull the players into Lubbock:

A&M will be good again one day. I know this because I took them over in NCAA 09 and won 8 National Championships in 12 years.

What would be the buyout for Sherm? I know they paid through the nose to buy out Fran.
