He is the ONLY coach in the BCS era to play in NC with 2 losses.

He wasted more talent than any other LSU coach.

We won in spite of him.

Consider this, he inherited an LSU team that had been recruited by the best coach ever in college football history for the previous 5 years and he still lost 2 games and had to back into the 07 title. The 11 title game looked like it was being coached by Ray Charles.

It was the winningest decade in the history of LSU football. Miles’ winning percentage ranks among the top coaches in SEC history.

Hmm. He seemed to do better than Saban with Saban's recruits

Saban last 3 years

8-5
13-1 (NC)
9-3

30-9 overall

Miles first 3 years

11-2
11-2
12-2 (NC)

34-6 Overall

Maybe Saban was a better recruiter back then but Miles was actually a better coach?

Or maybe those things mean nothing really

The Game Alabama had to back into?

And Nick Saban lost to this moron 3 times, including at home in 2011...

At some point yall have to admit that maintaining some kind of standard for a decade in the golden era of the SEC is not something just any idiot could do.

Look no further than the last two years to see what an actual idiot looks like running LSU football

The "coach won with previous coach's players" is such a cop out especially when the new coach had coach them for three years!

If you want to use that argument then Saban won with Dinardo's players.

The only coach that you can make an argument where he won with a previous coach players would be Larry Coker with Miami after Butch Davis left. :dunno: :dunno:
