He made LSU basketball fun again and did things at LSU that hadn't been done in 30 years. Yeah it sucks that he got sloppy, but let's not pretend that it wasn't fun while it lasted.

No. If the FBI never tapped any phones, none of this ever happens.
The FBI investigation is what brought the NCAA's attention.
