Not saying this definitely applies to this poster, but reminds me of the people out there that claim a lot of “weird” sounding ingredients are bad for you because they saw it on some article. Without having any knowledge on what those ingredients actually are

These are not "Ingredients"

Gum Acacia, Stevia). Other Flavoring: Flavoring (Natural and Artificial Flavoring and Coloring, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Modified Food Starch, Silicon Dioxide, Maltodextrin).

They are ADDITIVES that are awful. You might has well go and drink a Coke Zero with all the artificial fake ingredients that are in it. How do people on a fitness board not understand this? When a person is asking for the cleanest Whey Isolate they are asking for something that doesn't have a bunch of fake and artificial ADDITIVES to them. Hence the word 'clean'.

So you don’t really know why they’re bad do you? You’re one of those types. Even when you first replied in this thread, it was “just look at the label”. It can be helpful to know what is or isn’t bad.

For example the FDA found no evidence that sucralose (Splenda) causes cancer or neurological issues like some feared. It (like stevia) might cause issues with gut bacteria but that study was done in very large amounts. It should only be consumed in small amounts just like regular sugar.

Same for maltodrexin. It might not be good for people with gluten allergies, Crohn’s disease, or diabetes. But those people have to be careful of anything they eat. For everyone else it’s fine in small amounts just like sugar. It might even be in some of the foods you eat (scary!) because it’s so commonly used.

Brings me to another thing, they’re are additives for FLAVORS. There are unflavored versions which don’t have any of this if you’re worried. And OP said he doesn’t care about flavor or taste. So suggesting an unflavored version perfectly answers the question.
