If there’s a chance of rain in Lafayette, they’re considering closing schools

Absolutely ridiculous.

Jeff Davis, Calcasieu, Beuragard have and we aren’t predicted to get anything compared to other portions of Louisiana.

Distance learning. Which I hate, hard enough doing that shite at the college level.

And it basically requires the parent to be home.

They knew they were out of emergency days and the first they say anything is after 5pm. Don’t to tell me you are being cautious if you basically provide no notice. They weren’t prepared.

We are closed tomorrow - but its because so many of our buses have to go through areas that typically flood.

What happened to tornado drills? Too traumatic for the little Nancy’s?

What's the point of these kids practicing tornado drills if they are never gonna risk being at school for a tornado?

Losing valuable learning time.
