1) blitzes like the world is ending tomorrow
2) understands you don't put our worst safety or linebacker on a 4.3 40 "running back" out of the backfield.

Who might that be?

If we need to make a change at the end of the season, I'd go after Brian Van Gorder with some serious cash.

You do realize they blitzed on the 3rd play, thus leaving a safety on Harvin???

Which is the key. If we do change, don't do it now. There's no point. We have nobody better to coach the D, and I swear if someone says "let Earl Lane do it!" I'll flip. What the hell advantage does he offer? If he were better he would've had the job.

Muschamp ain't coming back. And he could very well be getting a head coaching position after the season.

Perhaps Tom Bradley if he gets mixed up in turnover if Joe Pa hangs it up.

If he would have had Phelon Jones or PP in there who can keep up with Harvin, that's a freakin Pick!

I doubt we even make a move regardless of who is available

Les has put himself in a bad position with the promotion of BDP and Mallory. This really worries me.

He is buddy with them. If we fire them we lose two good position coaches and a good recruiter in BDP. If we dont...well we know what happens. I doubt they would take a demotion.

We'll see.

He could bump DM and BDP down to position coaches and bring in a guy like Brown did this offseason at Texas. Still, there are issues with that.

I disagree.

The two-headed monster of DM and BDP may turn out to be unsuccessful but I am fine with not hiring that dude.

They blitzed a LB, they were in man coverage with a free safety (Taylor) playing center field. No pressure allowed the routes to get deeper. Taylor went for the deep post over the middle and Harvin was the flag route. Watch the replay. It all comes down to zero pressure from the front four. FLA had extra OLineman available to pick up the blitz b/c they weren't even having to double team our front four. That's ridiculous!

things are going to have to get really bad for a move to be made

BDP is a solid recruiter, but those are a dime a dozen.
