When I walked by their stadium vs Incarnate Word and the place was packed and the fences had folks climbing on them...

Looks like Alex Box is dead... have we dropped that far???

Alex Box is pretty rowdy- but you have to win win win.

Need a way to incorporate the parking lot tailgate culture to the in park experience. Hate to say it but the new Box has always seemed stale as far as a home field atmosphere. Winning cures a lot though.

What's the current state of each baseball team? It's not that hard to figure out.

Texas is dieing for a winner.

Alex Box will get rowdy again when we start winning. Big plays and wins fuel emotion.

Scrapping snd clawing to not get swept by A&M doesn't exactly get the blood flowing

My best friend is a member of Occupy Left Field foundation. They are die-hard Texas Baseball fans who have brought some serious energy and fun to Baseball games at The Disch. They also do some good service work in the Austin community.

But why would you say Alex Box is dead? I'm not challenging your fandom or anything but I've been to 9 home games this season. The crowd has been impressive and dedicated thus far. The students on weekends have been great albeit inappropriate.
Today I Was pleasantly surprised to see the lots across Nicholson full of cars when I pulled up late to the game. And we got the WIN! No sweeps for you Aggie frickers.

But I was told playing weak teams in the non conference was part of the reason people didn’t go to the games.

People forget too that a lot of people that would make Alex box, or any of the lsu venues, a vibrant place are moving away. Tons of young people that are either single or young with families have moved away. Not to turn this political but BR and LA are poopholes right now. Hopefully LA can get things turned around one of these days.

Alex Box is dead because it's closer to an old folks home than an LSU Stadium. Old folks are policing the student section and what they yell. Let the bleachers bring coolers in. Sell alcohol at the Box.

The old folks better snort some shite and get hammered with the students and get rowdy. Part of the problem lies with them.
>inb4 that's trashy
We live in a state that has a major holiday based around debauchery. Worrying about what's trashy and what's not is the least of the problems this state has.
Have fun. Get rowdy. Put a lil ting tang in your coffee if you have to. LSU has the reputation of being a hostile environment. It's time you do your part to live up to that expectation.

Alex Box has been dead since they built the new one. Have you not been to any LSU games at the new box? It’s not even comparable to the atmosphere of the old box

because I walked by Disch-Falk and the place was jammed packed with folks hanging on the outfield fence against Incarnate Word and I looked at LSU on TV and there were lots of empty seats at the new Box vs Texas A&M

I brought my family to the Friday game (traveled from Austin) and for the most part it was pretty good. There were some idiots behind us near the first base line that were inappropriate and spilled beer on us. I definitely have a different perspective now that I have kids.
