Have you ever heard of the term useful idiot? It's a method used by authoritarians (originally in Russia, by people Putin admires and has studied a great deal) to get people who aren't 100% on the authoritarian's side to spread his propaganda willingly.
Have you ever considered you're part of that scenario right now?
