It's definitely a pro-Russia slant, but a great redpill for the masses about how they may be brainwashed by media. I think that movie is sympathetic to Putin. The follow-up, not so much. Putin admits in the second movie that his vision of Ukraine and Russia is one country. That goes against the main character in the second documentary, Medvechuk.

As for propaganda, why should I trust our intelligence agencies and media when this is their history?
