Like these "personal and touching" sideline stories on gameday and such??

Does it make you feel all emotional, or are these stories only there for the wives and girls watching with you??

I mean, I am 100% female...

but have no reason to want to learn all about Colt McCoy's dead cousin on gameday...

They keep Oprah on the weekdays for a reason!!

I resent having these emotional stories forced on me on a saturday morning when I'm in a "football" state of mind. A good friend of mine disagrees completely. He's a fairy though. 3, 2, 1...

I usually appreciate them, but TV shows like this often overdo or miss entirely on the background music. Let the story tell itself. Don't cook my emotions with too much music.

But usually I'm glad I watch them.

Stick the cock-lookers in swimsuits and the story becomes 100% more interesting.

I can't stand those "touchy-feely" stories. They totally take you out of the football mentality.

Wouldn't call football stupid, but otherwise, I agree. If you watched that story and didn't feel a little emotional, you just aren't human. Whether or not it should be shown is obviously up for debate, hence this thread, but I can spare 10 minutes out of the 2 hours of mostly garbage spewing out of the ESPN talking heads' mouths to hear an inspirational story.
