"Ugh" and "just vomit"

Just curious, how old are you?

just saying teachers don't need to be in the classroom to teach. they can teach online virtually. But the public want the babysitting and a place for students to hang out with friends. I expect most jobs leave the work from home platforms

14. That's why the commute will suck, I have to ride my bike. Way to stay on point.

we're now back one day a week for "collaboration". Will go to two days a week next month.

My "collaboration" this week consisted of one 30 minute department meeting (that we've had on TEAMS for two years now). Nothing new or beneficial to being face to face. The remainder of the day I worked at my desk and never talked to another person but did text a guy on TEAMS------just like at home.

My commute took more time than the "collaboration"

The company I work for has offices in various states and countries. The one I work out of was part of an acquisition and is in Atlanta. We had a meeting two days ago where the real estate guy from the main office ask, "Do we need to continue to pay for 2,500sq feet that no one is using?" He actually had a pretty big crowd for that meeting, but only because it was a free lunch. I've been there once in the past two years.

They will reduce to a much smaller space with hotel cubes/offices, a couple of small conference rooms and will rent hotel space for larger events as necessary. The commercial real estate industry is undergoing a lot of change.
