There it is, the emotional argument, when in fact, Putin has shown restraint in not inflicting large amounts of casualties or damage of residential areas.
Russia has the firepower to flatten every major city in Uraine. Why hasn't he done that?

Putin isn’t a “globalist” only insomuch as Russia is not at the top of the global order. America is. Putin resents American success.
Otherwise, Putin and Russia are as tied into the global political and economic system as any other nation.
