A good cutting board can be pricey. I have a Boos block and it was not cheap, but it's a good, quality board that I've had for many, many years.

Etsy. There are half a million different styles and wood types. A lot of them are legitimately hobbiests. It doesn't get any more small business than that.

Black Walnut? That is an arm and a leg right there. Hard maple WAS reasonable a couple months ago but it is very light. There is a guy in Denham Springs that sells on facebook for way too cheap, but still a solid walnut board is going to cost you.
