I haven't heard a republican or republican-voting conservative refer to themselves as GOP, ever. It's a label applied by media.

First they let the Democrats illegally institute their mail-in-voting scheme, then they let them steal the election, then they certify it, then they sit back and won't lift a finger to get the J6 political prisoners released. Why should we keep voting for these traitors?

Because most conservatives in the party don't get involved. Not trying to pick on you, but when was the last time you attended a GOP meeting? Are you imvolved in your precinct reorgs?

Seems as if the GOP term became prominent during Obama's run. Had never really heard it before then. Media loves it though...

Ok I stand corrected. It's dumb and should be dropped then. Regular "rank and file" reps/cons don't refer to themselves this way.

I agree, and am an independent.
However, the problem is two-fold:
1). Any new political party will be destroyed by the IRS just like the Tea-Party movement.
2). We all now know that Federal elections are compromised and thus our votes are currently worthless.
