Have the Challengers been delivered yet? I really hoped they would send enough to equip a battalion like we are doing. They had 31 Challenger 2s they could send with no problem. The Leopards are disappointing though. I had hoped to get at least 100 Leopard 2s but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. At this point I’ll be surprised if they get 60 of them. This is obviously why we are speeding up the Abrams deliveries to help fill that gap. Hell it might just be the Leopard 1 not the Leopard 2 that helps Ukraine more. They look to be getting 100-120 of them. One thing looks to be true though. We are about to see just how superior western MBTs are to Russian armor because they will be outnumbered. If used correctly though I still think 100 tanks collectively with IFVs can mount a strong spearhead of an offensive but it will all come down to their tactics. I worry about that because the crews have clearly gotten a crash course in these systems, especially the Abrams crew and their maintenance guys who probably are the most fricked in all of this.
