I was in Pearland TX this weekend and decided to check out Steamboat Bill’s.
When traveling through Lake Charles I often stop if I have time as it’s a nice stopping point from NOLA to Houston. I tried the boiled crawfish and shrimp. The flavor of both is exactly the same as the Lake Charles location. So if you are on the South side of Houston it’s definitely worth checking out.

The fried seafood is pretty solid at the LC location.
Didn't know they had a location in Pearland. May have to try next time I'm down that way.

The Alexandria location finally folded. It had a solid product for the first year but it just never took hold up here. Eventually, quality suffered as patronage was nearly zero. I honestly don’t know how it kept its doors open as long as it did.
I was disheartened as the quality went downhill. I really like steamboat bills.

I live here in Lake Charles area. Ten or twenty years ago, the I-10 location of Steamboat Bill's had good food, but IMO the quality has gone down some.
We went there for boiled crawfish a few years ago. I will say that many other places serve much better crawfish. There fried stuff is usually very good.
