I love my Tigers...but RJF should not even dress for Saturday's game. His comments are that of a THUG...our defense can speak for itself through performance and results. They don't need a ghetto spokesman. C'mon RJF...get with the self-respect program...or get to steppin'...

To hell with that. I wish they would recruit more thugs. That just means more attitude. More attitude from the streets. If you bring that into your program, the sky's the limit.

FYI, SpongeBob, RJF is a fine young man. Very personable, polite and a good kid...I've met him, spoken with him, and he dated a friend's daughter...so don't be calling Tiger players names if you're getting your info from ESPN and the like...he made some enthusiastic, confident statements about our defense which were not as clear as he would have liked; the media jumped on 'em & made 'em a big deal...he's a kid & as the Mother of a 20-something, I can tell you, I wouldn't want my child or anyone else's every word taken, then put under a microscope, dissected, then diseminated to all of the quote-hungry sports shows in the country...he made a mistake in his verbiage...geez! He's a good kid AND he's a Tiger!

We got 6 more players just like him on the sideline. We'll be ok with or without RJF.

LSU has depth but will definitely miss him not playing. He's the biggest weapon on the D-line. When he left the MSU game, the difference in the D-line was noticeable. The good news is that coaches have had two weeks to prepare, should he not play or have limited playing time.

Exactly how were his words misunderstood? I agree that young people make mistakes, and with those mistakes come consequences. RJF's comments did nothing but fire up Florida and place a target on our own Freshman quarterback. Sorry to disagree with you, Tiger friend. Those comments were unbecoming of a Tiger.

He was portrayed as a Thug by some Gator homer reporter writing on a blog called Swamp Things. RJF told Sheppard that he never said it like that. It got twisted and turned by some asswipe reporter, and now our DL has his own "fans" calling him a thug. F THAT.

his words got completley turned around and he was misquoted. BTW, you are just a dumbfrick for thinking he shouldn't play because he said something to the media. Its a free country and it did nothing to fire up the Florida team. If you don't think they were already going to be fired up after the way we beat them last yea and losing to Ole Miss you are naive. This is a free country, and he can say whatever he wants. He was misquoted and Miles isn't even upset with him about the situation.

Beckwith and RJF should both play, they've both been practicing this week

Wow...what an excellent defense. You should get a job in public speaking. I am sure the entire TigerNation would agree with you. So much for the word respectable...Some of us hold our team to a higher standard...while others have no standards...which makes you average...

He was quoted as saying "take him out of the game" when he really meant (or maybe even said) "take him out of his game". Meaning hit him hard and he won't be the same.

Here's where you start to sound really stupid. This Florida team didn't need anybody's comments to fire them up. This game has been circled on the schedule since last year. Give me a break.

And yours are unbecoming of one with a brain. Don't throw a label like thug around lightly. It makes you look foolish.

lets throw a tiger under the bus for being misquoted. i think most tiger fans disagree with you, and i think you need to get a life. he said something the media that got turned around. Les Miles doesn't care and if anything it will motivate RJF for the game. This isn't the USSR, he can say whatever he wants.

he didn't sound like a thug in the parts where he talked about how much heart tebow has, but i am sure that you know what his intentions of his quote was

It is obvious you have never played college football...It is foolish of you to think that comments like RJF's prior to a game like this wouldn't up the emotions and change things for Florida. No one ever implied Florida wasn't already fired up...this just amplified it. But, it doesn't really matter...our Tigers will kick some arse.

RJF wasn't going to play because of his hip.

Interesting....especially since according to Miles, the injury he sustained was to his groin and not his hip.
