I went to two sales, spent a total of $227.

This first group, I spent $22. It was from the garage sale part of the first estate sale

Vintage timer and soap

Micro recorder

Martini jigger

Level

1940’s Military post tennis championship trophies

Old entrenching tool

Fiesta ware bowl (chipped)

The next three photos came from the estate sale it self, I spent $105

Occupied Germany US Army road map

Challenge coins

Old Wilkinson bayonet

The last photos are from another sale. Anything that was priced was so over priced, it was comical. I found stuff that wasn’t priced and asked for a bundle deal. He said $100, I took it

Old toys and yo-yo

Unopened SW trilogy VHS

Spiderman toilet paper and Polo softball

SW books

Maravich freshman Gumbo yearbook

Old Mahjong set

The mahjong set will be the highest, could be $200-$300.

The bayonet. I have no clue. I paid $75 for it

No, this estate sale was for a Brigadier General that graduated from West Point in the 40’s.

Yes, that was the second one I went to. That’s where I got the mahjong set. That’s a new company, and they have no clue what they are doing. The stuff was so over priced, it was comical. They price right off of eBay, and dont consider condition.
Yes, this toy truck sells for $70 on eBay, but it’s mint. Yours is all rusted, bent, and missing a wheel.
He had a ton of cast iron Griswold and Wagner pots, he was asking $200-$300 each. The exact same pots I can get off eBay in better condition for under $100 each.

I live right around the corner from that house. I went over and walked through around 11:00. I don't go to many estate/garage sales, but I would agree that the prices looked crazy high. I might go back and look through the books.

I've been in that house before, but never realized how much stuff they had, especially all the old kids toys. It was an older couple that lived there, I'm guessing for about 40 years.

I live on the same street and was familiar with the owners. Nice folks. They had some sort of an antique business at some point...though it may just have been jewelry.

I went at lunchtime. The first thing I saw was a clapped out Coleman 425E with a $50 price tag. After looking at the prices on the fishing tackle I didn't even go inside. They did miss some decent to nice USA made hand tools in the bottoms of the fill a bag bins...so I did take a few minutes to fill one up.

Even if they go 50% off on Sunday, they'll be way higher than retail.
