I saw a report from earlier today that they had raised around $5 million. Why is that only $500k?

There must be multiple fundraisers on the site.
The other day I followed a link posted here that showed $2.6 million raised for that particular account.

The "Adopt a Trucker site you linked to is sponsored by "Chris Garrah" and it clearly states
"The funds from this campaign will be received by Chris Garrah." I wonder how or if this individual plans to disburse the funds?
