This is the exact opposite of reality. The tournament is very unpredictable and while winning it catapults you into historic recognition it’s not the standard of success. Guys like Bob Huggins, Rick Barnes, Bruce Pearl, Mark Few, Ben Howland and on and on are elite and likely future HOF coaches but have 0 titles between them despite well over 100 years combined coaching experience at upper level schools. Wade is in year 5.

Mark Few has been to the Sweet 16 every season since 2015 including 4 elite 8s and 2 FFs. Please do not compare Wade to Mark Few or anyone else on this list.

Where did my comment reference winning a title as the measure of success?

Why dont you count his time at VCU? I understand it helps the narrative but it's just inaccurate.
