Pathetic…but very typical of LA. Any other state would have had this completed in 2 years.

Literally from your own link that you posted, they say they don’t want to build Interstate ramp access until Pecue is 4 lanes from Airline to Perkins. So that has to be constructed first. It is planned out this way.

I swear some of y’all just love to complain.

Exactly…A project like this is planned out to take 10 freaking years. As I said, other states like TX would have this completed in 2 years.

There will be a frenzy of retail development along Perkins in front of Woodridge once that exit ramp completes. Hopefully a little better thought out than what was built on Siegen.

Bait and switch going on here.

Broome had them clear the woods for the on/off ramps 4 plus years ago as if work was ready to begin on the interchange. Instead all they did was build a new overpass two years later.

FWIW, EBR taxpayers voted to fund this project in 2005 in Kip’s Greenlight plan. In Broome’s MovEBR plan more money was committed to this project.

It’s been 17 years and now we hear it might be 10 more years. Lol

That's a BS excuse: they had already taken so long that the studies and funding were about to expire. So clearing trees was used to claim "start of construction".

They needed an excuse to save face on the delays, and not make it completely obvious that they needed to start work, but weren't ready to.

Why?

Why?

Only in Louisiana could the "parties at be", ROYALLY frick this up.
Why could we not do the Overpass as Pecue is being widened at the same time?

Everything this state does is assbackwards
