Whatever happened to the University Lab student that was suspended for not wearing mask?

Did he relent and start wearing a mask after the suspension? Is he still suspended? It was sort of a big story on here and local news but there was no follow up.

I believe his parents pulled both of their kids and moved them to a private school.

he probably got COVID, had the sniffles for a day or two, got a 2 week vacation, and life went on.
