Alright here me out

Zion will continue to shovel pizza dough down his throat and never play for the new team. Draft picks = lottery picks

In 2009, we traded Tyson Chandler bc he was injured that year. The grass wasn't greener on the other side.

It ended the crescent city connection between Chandler and Chris Paul and was the beginning of the end of the CP3 era, which was the best we had it down here.

For CJ mccollum

Dude what. This is the dumbest take I’ve ever heard. Trading Zion (21 year old generational talent that’s been hurt in somewhat unlucky ways) for CJ (30 year old that’s recently been hurt too, and we know exactly who he is)

If Zion is traded, which he shouldnt be, then it should not be for a B tier player that’s over 30 years old

you are the only poster who knows the unlucky way the Jones fracture happened.
do tell.

if i can get a decent starter pg like mccollum for zion as is im grateful.

you hope hes back and better than ever like KD was able after his surgery like zions.

its a bet. i bet no matter how this latest injury heals zion is not his best possible for 70 regular season games, no less the addition of rounds of playoffs.

and if cj isnt the trade ok. b tier. ok.
but id be shopping once zion is 100%

We can likely get CJ for Hayes/Sato/Hart, but let's see if we can do the deal instead and give them Zion

I do give Celtic/Otto a bit of a pass sometimes, he is not an English first speaker from the US and will have...different perspectives.

Its a ludicrous position though.

But sometimes we get people coming in here saying the most outlandish shite and they are dead serious.

I love cj McCollum but it's laughable to even suggest trading zion for him.

Zion would pull much much more in a trade.

I can't believe you are serious

Yeah, I'm thinking this summer we could get from the Knicks a top 5 pick (they are fading fast), 3 additional 1sts, 3 picks swaps, Toppin and Quickley. Not a blockbuster deal. But combine that with our top 10 pick, plus potential Lakers pick and we have lots of other movable assets. Could be a really fun summer..

We aren't going to move Zion until we HAVE to move Zion.

That is always how it works.

Unlucky may be the wrong word, but everyone jumps to being out of shape or weight as the reason Zion is hurt, or says that he’ll keep getting hurt since he has had a few injuries. Look up the list of pro athletes with jones fractures, it’s just as common for small guys compared to big guys, and is just a shitty injury like an ACL.

I’m just saying that at this point in time, there’s nothing really that shows Zion is injury prone “because of his weight.” He could be injury prone just because he’s been injury prone, though. He isnt getting injuries that only fat guys get

CJ for Hayes/Sato/Hart

no one wants satoransky.
hart is limited. his play was great in 1956.
hayes may be worth something.

prior posters say portland is asking 2 #1s for cj.

your pupu platter aint it.

Wait, CelticDog? Where's he from?

Not gonna lie, I just assumed he was about 73 years old.

He used to go under the name Otto and mostly posted on the poli board as a hardcore actual communist/leftist.

Not sure exactly where he is from, its something like Poland or Hungary or Austria, I can't 100% recall exactly.

This is being willfully blind to the circumstances. Bigger people barely ever make the league, much less have long careers. If you don't believe that extra weight is detrimental or might cause additional injuries, then you just don't believe in any type of science. It really is that simple..
