Jesus fricking Christ. He coached here for 16 years. Do you have any idea how unusual that is?

I’ll despise him just as much as Saban, if he ends up in Dallas one day

Payton would have to coach the Saints til his 81 and still it wouldn’t be enough for some of the figs on here.

16 year tenure. Super Bowl title and many years of success never before even imagined by this franchise.
At what point shall he be granted permission to leave if he wants to? Would 30 years be sufficient?

Right now, guy is a legend. No problem with him wanting time off. But if he takes a year off and goes to Dallas, that will be a giant frick you and knife in the back to the Saints organization and fans.

Jesus Christ the people saying he quit on us obviously didn’t watch any games before we had CSP. He totally changed our culture and organization for the better. Won a frickin Super Bowl and multiple chances at another. Y’all are some soft arse bitches

Nah, I’m not. I’ve spent countless hours and money supporting this team and I have a right to feel the way I do toward someone who isn’t loyal to the team

He spent 16 years with the franchise and made them into a respectable one.

frick the money you spent, you’re an ungrateful bitch who doesn’t even know what the word loyal means.

Without Payton, it’s the San Antonio Saints.
