is this an @gmail.com address or are you using g-suite (google apps or whatever it's called these days)? my g-suite email hits a lot of people's spam filters.

It is an @gmail address but I'm pretty sure it's through g suite. Our recipients have not had any of the missing emails show up in their spam folder. G Suite has a feature where you can look in to all the nitty gritty details per email, and on our end it said they were delivered with no issues.
