The Michael Kelly guitars I've had cross the bench were made in Korea, which means they are ghost-built by World Music/Samick's factory for MK. That's exactly what I thought. Most of the stuff I have played from there has been decent, the Samick telecasters were pretty good, especially that Ray Benson one. It's like somebody else said " it doesn't hold value well", but it's not a factor in this instance. I love the idea of being able to mix the acoustic sound with a slight electric sound for some rhythm tracks, just using 1 guitar, and playing one time through.
I had one of the Dean acoustic/ electrics from there, that was a really good guitar, but I gave it to a girl who really needed a better guitar.
