Heading to Delacroix to fish next weekend. Anyone having any luck? This will be my first time to fish south LA.

Haven’t fished in a while, but if it’s your first time down there be careful of low water and mud flats with these fronts coming through.

Thanks for the information. Going for a bachelors trip so regardless we will have a good time. We were hoping to have some luck though!

Winter fishing in Delacroix can be great. I just wouldn't expect a whole lot from here. As others stated the water level could be a serious issue.

Ive pulled several boat off the flats on the left side of Bayou Gentilly as you leave Sweeteater. Never off the right side for some reason ?? . Low and dirty water will be an issue.

You might want to get some dead bait and fish right off the side the road. Reds should be stacked up with the temps and low water: Try by the bridge in hopedale too
