You always want at least 2 (preferably 3) books to shop lines. That hook or full point is bigger than it seems. Same with the juiced line at -115/-120 whereas another book may have it at -110.
I personally will be with Caesars and MGM for the rewards/perks, and then likely will choose of one of the remaining once the dust settles.

Can someone please explain to me what betting -200 or longer means?

That’s awesome, I’d bankrolled a good bit off the free bets on fanduel and draftkings and took LSU live +190 on both that I thought had a legit shot but lost

-110 means if you put up $110 to win $100
Or you'll win $9 for every $10 bet.
If you look at the moneyline of tomorrow's game you'll see the Bengals are a +285 that means if you bet $100 you'll win $285.
So negative is the vig. That's the amount the house makes on your win.
Some bets the house wins with high odds. Those are usually your (+) bets.
O/U bets and bets with the points spread will almost always have a vig and be (-) (-105,-108,-200)
Moneyline and prop bets will have high odds and are positive (+) (+105,+200,+1500)
The highest odds are on exacta bets. Pick the exact final score. Pick the exact superbowl match up etc.
The current exactas are +20000 - +30000
$5 pays $1500 in some.
Though Simply a negative you'll get less than you bet a positive you get more than you bet.

We have had these books for almost 2 years now in Pennsylvania. Caesars imo is the worst. Fanduel has the best betting interface and odds typically. Draft kings has the best promos/boosts. Barstool generally sucks at everything.

Fan duel has been doing a 1+ bet on the pels with +100. I think just to give away money. I don't get it.
Maybe you're betting the game isn't canceled. Odds were -10000, upgraded to +100 cap of $50. But that is almost a guarantee win.

Fan duel is my favorite of the three I have. I'm going to likely keep it. Plus Fan Duel runs the sports book at my nearest casino.

This is just a welcome to sports betting this weekend, Louisiana thing. They’re not going to have these for long. They’re also not worried about losing $50. They want you using the app and losing money.

Fanduel allows you to create so many bets, parlays, that other books don’t allow. It’s by far the best platform when it comes to the ability to place creative bets. I have also found that they are the least shady when strange things like stat corrections happen.

I live in MS but work in LA so I signed up for these apps and made some bets while at work yesterday. So today, can I have my buddy in LA sign into my account and place the “can’t lose” bets for me or is tied to your phone somehow? Or is that a good way to get your account deactivated?

Depends on if you have “always track” or “only track while using app” selected. The app might be tracking every move you make. If they see your phone is in Mississippi but you’re betting from Louisiana they’ll nail you. I bet they have a computer tracking the shite out of account irregularities.
