This dog is sleeping in the corner of the room and he's made it smell like an absolute bucket of turds in here.

I had to make sure he didnt actually crap the floor because its so strong.

Anybody ever dealt with this or have a remedy? I swear this is up there with the foulest crap I've ever smelt in my life.

The dog needs its teeth deep cleaned. If you can’t do it you need to bring to a vet where they sedate them

Same thing happened with my dog today.

Legitimately thought she shite in the house.

The mint bones/dog treats seem to work well.

Probably has bad plaque build up. Dogs also eat a lot of nasty shite when we aren’t looking.

Give him some fresh curly parsley once in a while. Great for humans as well.

He spent a night with CoyoteLSU.

It'll take a day or so for the smell of rotten sausage to dissipate.

Had a friend with a dog that had, IIRC, throat cancer. The dog's breath was horrific.

He might have an infection in one of his teeth. Go to vet. Antibiotics will help

My dog had this issue when her kidneys started to fail. It smelled like death. Also started drinking a ton of water.

As others have said, get the dog's teeth cleaned. It is also not uncommon that they have broken teeth that are decaying that are adding to the flavor.

Your dog probably has a rotten tooth, go to the vet and cry about the money you're about to spend

You're likely going to have to take him to a vet to get his teeth cleaned. Don't be surprised if they have to pull a couple. How old is he? After that, there are dog biscuits that are supposed to help with shitty dog breath. I don't know if they really work, but that is what they are advertised to do.

The same thing can happen to cats, too. An old cat I had growing up had god awful breath and ended up getting three teeth pulled.
