not being pessimistic, but there were only 4-6 birds killed on the place during the whole season last year according to LDWF reports.

If you love to breath in bullgnats by the thousands and see more people than a walmart parking lot on black friday—tunica is your place.

Private land is the only way to assure an un- interrupted hunt.

Every now & then you can get alone on public, but nowadays you will get messed up most times.

With deer it's different. Deer run from one guy, runs past the next guy. Turkey shut up , and are gone. This is why i believe many public spots has alot of turkey. None get killed.

Another strike is, youth hunts precede opening weekend. Just the sheer traffic, people in the woods, by the following week, all is quiet.
